Altima coupe rims on a 97 max.

[EDIT] So i lied, the altima coupe rims are 18s. here they are
*lovely iphone quality pics*

It got dark soon after so tomorrow I will have some better quality pictures. So far, It does sit a lil higher but the extra width of the rims/tires helps imo. Alot more grip than the 16's on venturas.

So my friend with an Altima coupe just got some SSR's and he is giving me his 17" rims. Im pretty darn sure it should fit considering those rims are pretty conservative. Is there anything I should be worried about? I'm just going from the stock se 16"s to the 17"s. How bad would the speedometer be off?

I'm getting these because
1. They are FREE FREE FREE
2. They are 17's, bit more traction since the maxima slips a bit in the wet.
3. Relatively new tires on them
4. and umm they're free?

I did a rough photoshop

of course its a bit unrealistic, but it gets the point across

Opinions?

Nothing beats free! I'm not a big fan of the wheels ON the Altima and your chopped picture looks like they look better ON the Maxima. I got V6 Coupe also and the only other thing I have to say is that the Bridgestones that come with them SUCK!

Hell ya! For free you cant go wrong. Those look really good actually. Only thing is you will be a 4x4 if you don't plan on dropping your car.

But hell, brand new tires too. I would be all over those.

nothing beats free, BUT people that see you car on the streets don't know that. So, what could help is a sticker "this was free" on each wheel )))))

yah, these are 18's. When the tires get worn out i might go with a thinner tire.

Some better pics will come soon, the weather has been a lil iffy lately. The tires on right now came with the rims, i'll prolly wait till i need to change em to get a lower profile tire.
