Buddy Club P-1 QF Wheels

i was wondering if anyone has these wheels on their maxima. i don't see them mentioned a lot on here and i was wondering what you guys think about them.

i am looking to get some new wheels for more performance and was looking at the 17x8 with a 35 offset. these are forged wheels and they only weigh 13.5lbs per rim!!! they are pricey. i like the gunmetal ones.

but what do you guys think? are they overpriced?

here is a link with all the sizes and weights per rim:

Based on the other rims on the market, they don't seem to be too overpriced. Insanely light, especially considering that they are fairly wide - the 18 in. options only come in 9 or 10 inch width! Overpriced? Not necessarily. Expensive? For sure. Just depends on how much money you've got.

Now the real question.. where are the pics?

thanks NmexMax. thats the ones i am looking at. i was showing some co-workers the pics and stats today and they think for performance the price isn't bad.

what are some other 17 inch wheels that are fairly lightweight and cheaper than these?

the best price that i have been quoted so far is $1950 shipped for any set of the 17s.

thats sounds pretty good.

i could swear i had looked at those and they didn't have our bolt pattern thats why i didn't consider them. maybe ill have to look at it again.

i also thought i had read that The Wizard said he ordered those when they first came out and had to return them because the bolt pattern wasn't right.

5x4.5 is the same as 5x114.3 right?

if it is ill take a look at these again.

Ya, not sure which TL's don't fit. If it was the 2.0 or 1.0's, hmm, Yeah, i forgot about that. But point being, there are light wheels out there that don't require one's first born/right arm.

Those really are not too expensive...all depends on where your priorities, personally for something like the Maxima I wouldn't bother buying something that expensive, unless I was tracking the car every weekend..

i hear what you are saying. its definitely not going to be a track car week in and week out. my goal is have a car that is both show and go you know.

she has some go in her but i just think these wheels will bring out a lot more than what i have right now. i run mid to high 15s with heavy 20s, not so good tires, and a slipping clutch

each wheel and tire right now is in the 55-60 lbs range so i know anything that i put on now will make a huge difference.

i also think that if bought, i can swap these to another car in the future, something that would be more serious than the maxima.

Don't get them - because they were going to be my next wheel

Actually I wouldn't be putting them on the maxima anyways, I'll stick with the SSR Comps for the max, but whatever car I get next will probably have P1QFs on it.

Well you said it, its just going to be a show and go car. Personally if I wanted a light wheel, I would spend that much...

However, there are much cheaper options that really aren't that heavy, like the FN01R-Cs that are under 200 each in most places, the 17 x 8s weigh in at around 17 pounds...or for a little more the track lites mentioned at 14 pounds (though the offset is ***** ****, maybe they offer a lower one).

Consider buying used as well...
