sawblades on a 5th gen?

Fellas, need some help here. Search did me no good. I'm selling my 15" sawblades that were off my 96 se. Dude that want's them has a 2000 max (i'm assuming he's thinking winter wheels). Question is will they fit? We're not sure if they will clear the brakes. We were going to try and test fit them when we get the time but I thought I'd ask in the mean time.

I know they still look good !

I got them cleaned up and started thinking those actually look pretty good, and then mocked them up on the max. But then again, I'm lowered and dont think she looks too good with stock 15's. More like once ya lower, you gotta go bigger and stay bigger, ya know!

So, any knowledge if they fit or not? :

Did I completely miss that. I thought Jae was referring to Andrei's comment?

That doesn't tell us brake clearance. Offsets matching or not, the wheel design is important as well with respect to wheel/spoke/design fitment re: brake clearance.

umm, what he said! ^^

Seriously though, Jae, appreciate the info you're giving but I'm trying to get a more definitive answer. I do my own work on the car but I never have to deal with the wheels. Its more like I have a basic idea of offsets (..and I need to read some more) but what does that mean to me now? Just trying to get more a solid answer bro!

It works. 3rd, 4th, and 5.0gens are interchangable (have not tried on 5.5gen). But if you got BBK, you're on your own.
