Nexen Updates / Reviews

Any updates on the Nexen N3000 or N5000? I haven't been able to find much on either one (a few random forum posts on other sites, but that's all). It looked like several folks around here were going to try them, and an update would be great since there seem to be few reviews on these tires. Please include which nexens ones you have, and how many miles you have on them, and a few brief comments...they would help a lot. Thanks.

i have about 500 miles on my235/40/18 Nexen N3000 tires. for how they handle, they are definitely a great bang for the buck. not sure on tire wear, though. would think that being so sticky they won't last nearly as long. extra tire noise is hardly noticeable.

ive put on a couple thousand on my 235/40-18 N3000's and i have had no problems whatsoever. treadwear is very good as i dont see any visual indications, because i still havnt gotten an alignment ever since i got these installed. interior noise isnt as bad as people think. wet traction was pretty good. the car felt fairly planted on tight turns and hydroplaning wasnt too much of an issue. for the money, its a decent deal.

Me too. I have the same size tires and I am happy with them so far. I probably have about 5k on them, they seems to have good wet and dry grip (though I do not test them much when its wet). They are not loud either. So far so good for me.

just had an autocross session / novice class today on my 235/40/18 N3000s. not the stickiest tires by far when pushed to the limits, but overall, i was able to put down competitive times. for spirited street driving, though, these are great.
