Can't find a wheel for 225/50/17
I had Yokohamas of this size put on my stock wheels (17" x 7JJ) and I'm having trouble finding any rims that use a 225 tire. They are mostly 215.

I think you are confused.

225 size rims can fit a wide range of rims sizes

i think as thin as 6-6.5 to 8-8.5 should be fine

but a 7" rim would probably be ideal.

really? I just saw that all these 17x7in rims suggest 215 tires, thats all, and ya I really don't know much about wheels and rims, soo thats why I sound clueless.
