Aftermarket Wheels and Tire Help

Hello, i will be purchasing aftermarket wheels in spring. They will most likely be 18x8.5 with a 42mm Off set. My question is, what size of tires would be most suitable for my car so I do not have to worry about rubbing issues and I want to sit flush with my fenders. I've heard that 240-245/40-45/18 is a good range. I have a 4th Gen, dropped on Eibach Springs with Kyb GR-2 shocks. Eibach's droprate I believe is 1.5 Front/ 1.3 Rears.

I've heard good things about Toyo Proxes 4's and Kuhmo ASX tires. They are both reasonably priced and perform well. Any opinions? I will be using my stock wheels and tires for the winter and aftermarket wheels/tires for the summer.

Also do I need to purchase Hubcentric rings for aftermarket wheels? Are spacers necessary for a 42mm offset on a 4th gen?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I also wanted to add on some potential places where I could pick up some Hubcentric Rings if necessary.

As a donating member, you should be able to find an abundance of tire size opinions via search, but at least 1 place for hubcentric rings is discount tire direct via ebay (I've not looked on their website) or 1010tire.com

I would run either 245 or 255/40/18s. I've ran 245s on my 18x8.5 SSRs
