yea, but I think they are 2 pairs of just the front side, not rear..

A member on another fourm just bought a set of RWD wheels and had to sell them cause they didn't fit of the max, thats why I say this..

I think you're right, I remember something like that... It might be 22" wheels I'm talking about cause thats the size that didn't fit in RWD..

It depends on whether they're staggered or not. All (that I know) FWD cars run non-staggered setups by default, so most won't have room in the rear for wider wheels/tires. Most (decent ) RWD cars will come with staggered setups, where the rears are sometimes up to 1" wider than the fronts, so there's all kinds of fitment issues.

I have on my Max right now a staggered set of wheel. 18 x 8 front 18 x 9 rear. With 38mm offset and 2" lip in the front 3" lip in the rear. Looks great.
Black centers with chrome lip. (not polished or machined) chrome!!

I ask if the g wheels will fit b/c i like the OEM 19's of a 05 G35.

I've got the G35 Rims on my Max. I get more compliments about the rims than anything else.

Thanks 808max do you think they'll fit ok? I just bought progress springs for my 02 but was thinking that the tires might rub. If they don't fit maybe I'll just drop the front and leave the back stock height. Any thoughts?

You can try that setup if you think it's going to prevent from rubbing. I've seen guys running 19x8.5fr and 19x9.5rear and they said no rubbing. Give it a try. Don't forget to post pics.

I have 22x9's on my car with minimal rubbing. with the 255/30/22 tire's it make the diameter of the whole wheel 24", and it fits in there nice even with a 2" drop in the front. it only rubs cause of the width of the rim being 9" only on "U" turns..

your 19's are ok..

I was just worried about the 40 series profile of the tire rubbing. We'll see I guess, thanks for the replies I'll try to post pics this week sometime.

40 series are about an inch taller than a 30. with 19's you are about 22 inches round with tire, thats the same diameter as the stock 18 set up. you are runing 8" wide in the front, thats ok when turning.

you won't rub, unless you drop way low in the front. the rear is ok also, max blue runs 20x10 in the rear dropped on eibach springs and he's fine.
