Are all the 18 inch 350Z rims the same? 18x8 for the front and 18x18.5 for the rear... when I buy tires should i get the ones that match the factory tire size... 225/45/18 for the fronts and 245/45/18 for the rears.. please let me know.. cause I was just bout to buy some 245/40/18 tires...

Depends on what model. On the Track wheels, its 18x8 for the front & 18x8.5 in the rear but other wheels are 18x8 both front & rear.

will a 225/40/18 work on some 350Z rims?

Most either get 235/40/18 or 225/45/18... thanks!

They look a lot like the 6th gen SE OEM wheels, I guess the only difference is the width.

im lookin at a set of 350z wheels with oem tires on my local craigslist. i assume they fit on my 95max because both have a 5 lug pattern. Do you think ill need to lower my car or will they look fine without it being lowered since they are 18s

Iin more detail... my rotors look like the ones on this site..with the thing sticking out the middle of them
http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/300

that prevents my wheels to go flat against the rotor and there is a gap between the wheel and rotor when its fully tightened (no way that flys). So, do i need new rotors? can i take that thing out?

i easilly fixed that problem by removing the pastic spacers. i couldn't see them in the dark when i first attempted to put the wheels on. these pieces of crap have been causing my stearing wheel to shake at high speeds even on the stock 15's. What kind of a moron would put plastic between a wheel and a rotor?

Haha yeah i know... this thread is to help me choose some tires for the 350Z rims that I ALREADY HAVE... but thanks for everyone's opinion on the rims but i'm still lookin for the answer on the tires... i'm just a little worried if the tires will rub or not since i'm lowered on tein s-tech springs... so i'm deciding if i should go 235/40/18 or 225/45/18.. i'm leaning towards the 235/40/18 since people have said it will look better and not stretched..

How much of a drop is that? I want to put 245/40/18 tires on G35 rims (same size and offset as 350Z rims) on my 2003 which is lowered 2" on Ksport coilovers. I have seen others warn about rubbing with this wheel/tire combination. Are you even close to rubbing?
