Whatda think of these rims?

http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_p...ID=1&ss_id=368

I can get a really sweet deal on these rims and I am not really sure about them. My car is green, lowered with h&r and a 30% tint. I'm wondering what the .org thinks of them. I think the might look better on a civic or something, but I haven't seen to many maximas with the bronzed rims. let me know and thanks.

Any one have these on their cars? Can I have a picture please?
I can get them for 125 Canadian each... 106 USD in the 18x7.5 size. Plus all the extras..hub centric etc.
Ps there's no gold on my car and I'm wondering if it's gonna look ricey?

I think it would look pretty good, especially against the green

Gold works well with green cars. If you've ever seen forest green cars with a "gold package" you'll know what I'm talking about. The only thing that would send me elsewhere is the weight. If I was set on that rim for mine, I would only opt for the 17x7's. But it is true that our cars have very large wheel wells and it would look better with it filled. Your choice, make our slow *** cars even slower, or live with a gap and enjoy a "quick" car.

color is sweet, since they are heavy you might as well go with bigger ones, they are going to be heavy anyway..it will just look a lot better!!!

guys, those rims are like 20.68 lbs. I didn't think that was all that heavy. I would go with the 19's, but the price is way more expensive, and I'd have to wait till next year. Due to the crappy roads up here the 18's will have to do. I'm not really into the fast part of the drive, but are those really gonna slow my car down that much? What do our stock rims weigh? Thanks and keep the comments comming.

He's right guys 20lbs is not much weight at all for an 18in rim. Unless you're talking about super expensive light racing rims you'll be hard pressed to find many 18in rims under 20lbs for the price th Konig rims generally go for. My Tuner IIs are around 22-23lbs a piece and my max doesn't feel any slower with them vs. my stock 16in SEs

it would look decent with your green max. I'd suggest otherwise but I'm shaky on how well it will flow with you car. You'd have one slow max if you got the 19s but If you want 19s I'm sure your not really concerned with performance.

My 17x7.5's weight in at 18 lbs. I just don't ever plan on going heavier than that, just because of the anchor effect. The size also affects performance. That's why people run on small 15" wheel on the track. If you don't care about speed and just like to cruise, by all means go for the biggest ones you can afford. My gle came with stock 15's, but I just couldn't stand the size diff between the rims and our gigantic wheel wells. So I went a few bigger. I read somewhere my stock saw blades weigh something like 20+ lbs a piece. If this is true, I saved a few lbs with bigger rims and better tires. If it's not, 40lbs a piece with tires still is not bad at all.

I like the style. Simple, but sporty. I'm not 100% sure on the color. I've got a dark green maxima, too. The Bronze will either look really good, or slightly out of place.

Try to photoshop them onto your car, just to see how the color would look!

These are not your rims, but they are similar in color. From the TireRack.com upgrade garage (I have my profile saved, so only takes 10 seconds to get to the rims section...)

I think bronze works best on black or white... won't look good on green.. but this is a loaded question - so you're going to get a million opinions.

If you like them, go for it. It's your ride and as long as you like it...

Based on the TireRack images I uploaded, I think that it would look a little bit too "Pimpin" for my taste. If you were from the right kind of neighborhood in NYC or Detroit that would be a good thing. If you are going for a classier or more conservative look (more my style) you might be better off with the usual silver rims.

So, it wouldn't look bad, but it would look a little pimp, if you know what I mean...

But as the previous poster said, if you like 'em, go for it! The style is nice. The color is your decision.

I was just unsure of the color... it's like picking up chrome rims... Sure they look nice and all, but for how long before they "go out of style. I'm trying to go for a classic look with the maxima and with no other bronze or chrome (it's an se model) I'm kinda stuck. I really didn't want to be following the crowd (mm evo5), but who knows. Btw, Konig retails those rims for 440 each Canadian. I'm getting em for like 125 each. Pretty good deal but I don't wanna spend money on something that's gonna go out of style in a year or 2. Thanks for all the input.
