Almost any wheel will if 17" and over with enough spacing, but with no spacing the 18" Infiniti G35 coupe wheel does and thats an 8" wide rim with 30mm offset, so I guess any 18x8" 30mm offset should clear? right??

I needed a 15mm spacer with my 42mm offset 18x8 Alessio's

No, because the Maxima BBKs use rotors that are larger than stock Z32 rotors, so the position of the caliper on the hub is different.

I haven't tried it, but I'd bet a whole bunch of money that the 17x7.5 5 spoke wheels off the Q45 will fit... they clear my wilwoods with like 10 or 15mm to spare.

Here's the wheels I have that fit both my Z32 and Maxima with Z brakes
Stock Z32 wheel (duh)
Enkei RPF1 17x8.5 +40 255/40/17 (very nice setup for the Max..jmo..)
Halibrand Cobra III 17x9 +34 255/40/17 (sticks out from under the fender a few mm)
I'm running Z calipers with Z rotors machined to fit so 16s still fit

How much did you have to machine off and where on the caliper?

the caliper was not machined.... if you reduce the Z32 rotor diam by 2mm you can install the rotor and caliper in the stock locations. There are a few other things you need to do but it is a bolt on mod no adapters needed.

Good thread. Wheels that will clear with NO spacers. I've run them so I know:

These are all with my bbk kit consisting of the 13" Cobra rotor, brackets, rings and 300z 30mm calipers.

17x8 1998 Ford Cobra wheels. Very nice design. 30-32mm offset. 245-45-17s fit. But a more proper size is 235-45-17. (See avatar pic)

350z Track editions. I run 4 fronts at 18x8 / 30mm offset. 225-45-18s But the staggered rears at 18x8.5 will also fit with 245-45-18s.

G35 Coupe wheels 18x8, 30mm offsets. Tires are staggered. 225-45-18s work great. Rears are 245-45-18. I had to run up front. Rubbed ever so slightly. I know of a 4gen running these up front and he says it also ever so slightly rubs.

Some 17" G35 wheels might clear also. I'm pretty sure the 05 G35 forged 18s and staggered 19s would probably clear. (Irish has some great pics/info)

The 350z 18x8 Touring wheels would clear. Same staggered tires as above.

I believe the 17" 350z wheels would also clear. I have access to a set for sale with the oem tires. (Still do)

People have had luck with the Koing Tantrums but since these come in various offsets, it's hard to pin down what offsets you need. Probably around a 30mm offset with a 17x8 size.

Some run the Enkei RP01? In the 17" and 18" size. Probably 8" wide. And the offsets is about 30-33mm ??

I've seen people run various Volks with/out spacers etc...

Note. I don't think the earlier Q45 wheels will clear if they originally came with the 2 piston style calipers. But I haven't measured.

Even then, you still MIGHT need spacers.

I'm looking into getting some OZ records, their application guide doesn't have the 4th gen on it. But I assume with 17" and spacers if needed I'd be ok?

You won't have a chance in hell with the Rotas. You will need extremely long studs and very wide spacers to make them work. Not worth it.

what about TSW concepts 17x7.5 +40 offset...will they clear with the blehmco 12.6" rotor and Z32 calipers...? they have no lip at all really...it's look as if I might need a 5mm spacer or so...

another wheel that is cheap and light is the Kosei K1 TS....great looking wheel that is strong I hear and very light, yet very affordable off tire rack...I believe $239 or 229 per wheel last time I checked...15.5lbs for a 17x8" at that price is great!

plus they are only +35 offset so you increase your track and most likely clear a lot of larger calipers out there...

no they won't clear. Width is too small and too high of an offset.

I've added pics. But it's not that hard just to search around for each one of these wheels.

Searching could be a bit burdensome...

I think having various combinations in one thread would make for a great sticky that many would find useful.

I suppose just donating $20 to be able to search is alot to ask. Especially when it could avoid a $1,500-$2,000 mistake if one chooses the wrong wheels. Someone already tried to put their stock 16" wheels on a 300z caliper (but on 300z rotors-smaller) conversion.

But if you want to gather all the information up in an organized manner with pictures, I'd be willing to put it in a sticky. Let me know.

Thanks Jeff. I do have searching ability. I have searched. Some but not all the wheels are shown on max's.

Additionally, for future generations of max owners, this would be a great sticky if it had pics since it would be one stop researching. It's a recurrent question (best wheels that clear BBK) so let's cut down on future posts by stickying this one.

Just in case, ASA AR1's (17x8, 35mm) will not fit - you'll need at least a 5mm spacer but go for 10 to be on the safe side. Matt (Blehm) test fitted it himself.

I just test fitted my Z32 calipers with my 18x7.5 Tenzo Mean 6, 42mm offset.Clearence is just barely, I stress the barely.
In order to use this setup you would need to go with the 300zx rotors and have them milled down in order to avoid the use of spacers.
I was able to bolt the calipers up into the maxima original location and turn the wheel with out the wheel rubbing touching the caliper.
I plan on doing the 04 maxima rotors with the relocation brackets so I will definatly be needing spacers.

Since it's going to be winter here I have taken off my 19's and did a mock up with the cobra rotors and Z32 calipers. My wheels are the Axis hagens with a 35mm offset. But turns out they don't fit my wheels even with a 5mm spacer. So now I am looking at new wheels for the spring.

You know what, it's really the way the wheel is designed. Mostly the highend JDM wheels will clear big brakes.

Yep. My wheels are not a high disk wheel. My spokes don't come out and taper back in. Mine are almost straight up. I got a few choices on new wheels.

Oops. I don't think the 18" G35 wheels are forged. Only the 18" 350z Track Editions are. And the new 05+ 350z Rays 18" fronts/ 19" rears.

Thanks for the follow-up. I was curious about that.

There are forged 19" Infiniti wheels and Altima SE-R 18x8 wheels are forged as well, from what I can see.
