if you are looking to upgrade those horrible tread wearing stock tires..... I highly recommend the All season ultra high preformance continentals...... I bought these tires last year and put at least 15,000 miles on them including drag racing and hard driving auto crosses and other rediculous wear and tear events..... and I have a whole lot of life in them.... however I do not recommend siping your tires if you plan to do any of the above..... I had my tires siped and well I found out quickly how that was a bad idea..... the rubber grips so hard sometimes that it rips chunks out of the tire.... so don't sipe them unless you plan to cruise and what not.... siping gives you twice the gripping ability.... I got all 4 tires with siping and lifetime replacement up to an eighth in of tread for $945 at discount tires..... unlimited tire repair for nails and such and unlimited tire rotations and unlimited tire balancing for the life of the tires..... really great deal if you ask me.....

Hubcentric Rings And Centerbore Size
What about the size of the centerbore and hubcentric rings?
See 1010tire.com for information regarding this. I don't believe these aftermarket wheel websites are including this. Which means we are putting wheels on that doesn't fit the centerbore, which means the rims are riding on the lugs alone rather than the centerbore. The information specifically says that if the wheels are not 'hubcentric', you will have vibration!
Is this something that is minor or are we missing the big boat? No wheel shop has ever brought this to my attention as to a reason for vibration. Are the tire shops just careless or am I stressing over nothing?
