350z 18" rims ---- 225/45/18 work????????

Ok, I currently have a set of 18" rims with 225/45/18 all around and my 350z 18" rims just came in ---- does anyone know if these tires will work well with these rims? What I really want to know is rubbing issues. I must add that I have Maxspeed springs already installed.

Any advice is appreciated.

45 series will give you rubbing on your 02 especially since you are dropped on maxspeeds - try going with either a 245/40 18 or 235/40 18. a 40 series is really the best size for an 18 inch on a 5/5.5 gen - good luck

Are you saying that I will have a rubbing issue because they are different rims? I currently have these tires on my car now with no rubbing at all. The 18's on my car now are 18 x 7.5, but the 350z rims are 18 x 8 with a 30 offset.

if you already have 18 with a 45 profile then the Z rims probably won't change anything

That is what I was thinking, but the width is .5" larger with the Z rims.
