Summer tire with wet grip as good as all-season?

I'm coming from a set of Bridgestone RE950s. I love these tires. Their wet grip has tapered off since there's virtually no tread left but when there was, it was like it wasn't even raining. My only complaint has been high road noise levels as they get old. Now that I'm in the market, is there anything with a little higher dry grip that will give me as good wet traction? Failing that, anyone tried the new Potenza G009? Seems to be the successor to the RE950.

I've had both Bridgestone S-03's and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on the Max. The S-03's win hands down for dry and wet weather traction over the Michelin's. But they only last 15k miles, typical summer only performance tire.

Yeah that's why I'm thinking about going with summer tires instead, I just want to make sure they have as good wet traction because it rains about oh... every day for hours here. Lately I'm driving in the rain more often than not.
