Getting new rims. Mercury silver or Gunmetal?

My current rims is actually Grayish silver and I believe it's actually darker than the gunmetal color. The best picture I can find of the Volk racing gunmetal and mercury silver is below. I'm getting the 19" Volk Racing Winnings so which color do you think will look the best on my car? The Winnings is on the Z in the front.
I'm leaing towards mecury silver because it will make my black caliper more noticeable but there is a wait on it. Gunmetal they have it in stock and it is a custom color.

That's the reason I want to switch to mercury silver...my current rims don't show up good in pictures and my big brake kit is not as noticible. There is a good chance my car is going to be in HCI magazine so I want my car to look good in pictures.

I get a red X but I've always liked the dark rims on your lighter color

As you can see by my car i'm a huge fan of body color'd wheels. I'd suggest sticking with the lighter silver wheels w/ a polished lip. But lets be honest how can you go wrong with those wheels.

I know this isn't one of your color choices but imo bronze translates nicely in pictures. My friends IS300 came with mercury silver wheels and at night they look like chrome. Some people like chrome, while others don't. The question is do you like chrome?

I think the darker the rim the more contrast there will be of your silver big brake rotors which than brings attention to your calipers. A progression of the eye.

Goodluck with your new wheels.

I would really consider bronze or gold wheels if my car was actually light silver. You know how Sterling mist looks beige at times. Bronze wheel would just look funny on a beige color car.

Neil will be shooting my car at Bristol, and then again at HIN in ATL. Whether for HCI or B Scene, I don't know. Probably not HCI if they're going w/ Tony.

Don't be shocked if he says HCI and throws a Bonzai feature at you.. he's been known to do that (directly with tim west)

I'm working with my friend Neran that done a few features with Neil for HCI. I met Neil and Gene on few occasions when they are in town. It's not a done deal yet but chances are good I'll get a feature.

I'll be happy with a Bonzai feature Anyway, Neil is putting 3 cars from my car club into either HCI or BScene so hopefully I'll get my turn.
