Injectors

So Im planning on running a 10 psi supercharger setup and know Im going to have to upgrade my fuel system. I'm assuming I need the walbro 255 fuel pump, but Im not sure how to figure out/what size injectors I need. Also, what else would I need? What ratio FMU etc

For 10psi supercharged purple top 370s would probably be sufficient, perhaps with a little bump in fuel pressure. Purple top 370s actually flow ~410cc @ 3.0 bar of fuel pressure. A better purchase would be something in the 450-550cc range, you can keep your fuel pressure lower and IDCs lower that way. Either way you'll need something to tune with, at least an SAFC, preferably either EB or EU so that you can adjust timing, and fuel maps better to get a smoother tune and monitor more parameters, and almost certainly an AFPR. FMU is not needed if you upgrade your injectors to a proper size. Yes you'll need the fuel pump.

Also that sig pic is way too big, you need to cut that down to size to abide by forum rules.

So 370cc injectors would work, but 450-550 would be better?

Regardless, I figured I needed to get an SAFC. Haven't looked into AFPR's yet.

As long as I get larger injectors I dont need a FMU? What if I just kept stock injectors and got a FMU, would that work?

Thanks

I'm trying to boost with stock DE injectors 'till I get a '00VI and bigger injectors. So far I have a walbro 255HP, aermotive fpr, and fmu. I'm still searching for the right amount of boost to run. A 3.33" pulley on my V1 should be about 9psi. What the FMU does is raise the fuel pressure but if you have larger fuel injectors you wouldn't need to do that and the injectors wouldn't work as hard. Stock injectors and a FMU will work, just need to figure out how much boost you can run. If I find a thread with the info. I'll let you know. Hopefully someone will have allready answered your question by then.
