FPR (AEM) + Vortech FMU + DEK Injectors for 11lbs SCing ????

Alright, don't know much so thats why I ask.

I have AEM FPR (ill get the model) with a vortech FMU which I beleive is 6:1 ration with DEK injectors. The pully on my SC is 3.125" which I beleive gives ~11 pounds of boost. Can the FPR and FMU help push/regulate enough fuel for the DEK injectors?

How much CC can be pushed with such a setup?

I will purchase 440cc injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump and just tune via EU but for know I have to work with what I have.

I guess the FPR should regulate a certain amount of PSI with the vortech @ 6:1.

Then again I don't have a clue lol.

Any light on this subject would be great!

You will need a walbro to up the fuel pressure even with the AFPR

Dejavu. Didn't we already go over this in your other thread? LOL

You can't cut corners. You gotta have the better fuel pump (ie Walbro) or else you'll be running lean. Should of bought the fuel pump (only like $85 BNIB) instead of the AFPR, since it appears you're on a tight budget. The AFPR will be useless once you get the bigger injectors too btw.

The AFPR came with the kit I bought. I'll buy the walbro 255LHP (GSS342)

If im correct you only need the pump. Everything else can be reused?

Thanks

Wizard doesnt he still need the AFPR when he goes with the bigger injectors? Lower fuel pressure to compensate for larger injectors at idle.

Nope. No need if he utilizes the EMU like he mentioned and sets it up correctly.

I have 555cc injectors, EMU tuned... no AFPR.

You will likely have to run the DE-K injectors at around 55psi.
