These last few days has been hell for NYC'ers, and even more for me. Every time I go some where, within 5 minutes my car struggles to drive and starts bucking back and forth (depending more gas I give it and how hot it is outside) before eventually dieing. I start it back it up, it bucks and backfire some more and stays between 1k-2.5k rpm Before dieing all over again.......
Here's my setup
2000 Nissan Maxima SE
440cc injectors
Greddy EU
60-1 turbo @ 12psi
38mm wastegate
2.5 exhaust
5 speed with quaife LSD
And BTW
Thanks in Advance

it's an engine management problem obviously, whether it's caused a bad tune/part of a tune or a bad sensor is another question. what is your wideband showing AFR-wise when it does this? what maps are being used for tuning on your EU?

Its def an electrical/engine management problem, id start with going over the maps you currently are using, and also check out the wideband when car is acting up. other than that, id look at MAF, and TPS, both of those will cause such conditions.

Well I have a AEM wideband but the 02 sensors needs to be replace. Before it went dead it was reading 14.6-15.1 idle. Also my MAF is bad too.....(soon to install my brand new Z32 maf this week). And the maps part I dont know because I'm not the one tuning, but I'll ask....

To be honest I would troublshoot the car as if it were N/A first.
I have a n/a max with bolt-ons as my DD & I had very similar symptoms...
(Long story short) Turned out to be a bad tank of gas & a dirty fuel filter.
Good luck.
