Wiring my Turbo Timer

I have read the threads but since I am running mine only to power the oil pump in my RMT setup I have some Q's

http://www.dynomagic.com/images/diag...structions.jpg

That is the diagram pretty much.
I was wondering if I could wire it like this:
I want to wire it to my amp since it has a constant 12v and a switched 12v and grounds already in the trunk

Red ---> 12v constant on my AMP
Green ---> 12v switched blue wire on AMP
Blue ---> Oil pump 12v

Rest of the wires get grounded.

Now if I do it like this, will the oil pump run with the car on and off?

In case anyone else wants to run it:

So the turbo timer sends 12v to the IGN ON source, that is why the diode is on it. W/O the diode, my amp would turn back on.
You can use the accessory on the TT to power the relay, it doesn't matter, but you do need to make sure the relay is on when the car is on so that oil pump is on when the car is on and it is on when the car is off by the TT.
I am sure this will be confusing but if you take your time it makes sense.

If you have any questions, let me know. This saves alot of wiring since I dont have to run wires to the trunk from the cabin.

I will have to make sure my radio is on at all times when the car is on. But I have a mute button so I rarely turn off the radio. I can always change the IGN ON wire if I have to...

I see a couple of problems with this set up.
1. If you turn off the radio, or loose the face to the radio, the pump will not run.
2. if you turn off the motor, the turbo timer will drain the oil in the turbo, and the bearings will cook in the radiant heat remaining in the turbo.
3. The point of a turbo timer is to idle the motor at a lower temp to keep from cooking the bearings. Wouldn't it be better to wire the turbo timer to the motor as its intended, or am I missing something here?

Yea I know bout the radio thing. No biggie. If I turn off car the oil pump stays on like it is suppose to. Otherwise oil will sit in the back if I let the motor idle

I would place a catch can under the drain, and pump from the catch can.
That might solve some of the prob. I've always had a lil oil in the charge pipe.

Yeah, I have been thinking about the oil system; I am going to research how the vettes and other cars do it.
