call pulls to the right under boost

I was test driving the car after a 5 speed swap and it seams that under boost the car pulls the the right quite a bit, i figured it might be an alignment issue but wondering if anything else could cause this? it was hard to keep the car on the road under full boost. any help. thanks

Brandon

Depending on the curvature of the road, it could pull either way, but on a fairly even road, mine use to pull to the left. When i fall into the tracks on the road, it goes both ways, but its damn scary if your not paying attention.

it used to go any way it wanted with me while on boost. Sometimes just the shifting of gears would have a different direction from one gear to another LOL. It's one of the biggest annoyances to me of FWD. 85mph brake-boosting and you let go, and you jump in the lane next to you at that speed due to torque-steer.... it was enough to make ME say "f this!" RWD time LOL

If you make enough power to have torque-steer, then you need traction bars.

Then you don't have torque-steer anymore. My JClaw bars have worked great for years.

is this a joke or are you bragging, you just took your front end apart get a wheel alignment, turn down the boost and you'll be fine

Mine pulls to the right in 1st and all I have is a Y-pipe...lol so i could see how a boosted max would easily do it. Like the others said get traction bars etc.

Man they didnt do anything for me as far as torque steer. They eliminated the wheel hop, that's what they were made for. But TQ steer they did nothing for

I wish they did back then :-( Lol Harold!!!! Get that build done!!!

*MINE* use to pull under boost real bad more than torque steer. Look at your control arms and front end parts. My right control are was about to fall off witch made it have lots of play in it so it would just drift right over their and was uncontolalbe.
