Does anyone know if there is another company besides HKS that makes an AN adapter fitting for our fuel rail?

Those aren't AN, though, Wizard. Those are barbed fittings.

True. Just thought I would throw that out there in case he was interested....

Blackcat, does it have to be AN fitting? Upgrading to high pressure fuel lines? or?

Lol..sorry I should have mentioned that I already have sxr7's barbed end adapter.

Been cruising the net looking and found this:

http://www.dsmparts.com/customer/pro...cat=164&page=1
Would a DSM part fit? It certainly looks the same.

Reason I'm looking is because I had a close call yesterday morning...

Just found this diamond shaped one for only $29.95:

Thats what I was fixing to say, is that I got my fitting from weapon-r, and I thought they sent me the wrong part because it said dsm. It fits perfectly though no problems.

I got mine from here: http://www.240sxmotoring.com/furaread6co.html

I was waiting to install it and make sure everything fit okay before I posted it up though. It is an HKS fitting despite what is pictured.

I got mine off ebay from someone selling weapon -r awhile back. This one here. Initially they sent the wrong one, but they corrected it eventually. Had it on for awhile now.

Looks good! Shipping is $15 extra for me.

Could you tell me what the distance is between the two screw holes, center to center?

I dug through my box of car parts and found the stock adapter. Its about 33cm centerline to centerline.

Got info about the DSM part from FuelInjectorClinic.com and learned that it won't fit. The 2G is closer (about 36mm) and the 1G is further (about 48mm).

I smelled gas leaking again when I fired up the car this morning so I had to bus it to work. I'm not happy about that adapter!

did you ever get to check and see if it fit. I had been searching for an AN fitting for our rails, but still no luck.

Yes, it fits. I installed mine yesterday. I still want to wait until I get fuel pressure on it before I give it a 100% endorcement, but it went together snug and looks like it should work. The allen head bolts are a nice touch as well.

It will probably be about 2 weeks, just as an FYI. Car is slowly going back together now.

its cool. im in no rush. plus you stated it fit, so I can only assume it will work well. I might purchase it, and if it leaks, my friend has a 240, i could try to sell it to him..

Just a quick update, my HKS fitting is still working 100% with no issues at all. I have no problem recommending these.

I did not have to re-drill anything, mine fit perfect.

Just so we are clear, I got mine from here: http://www.240sxmotoring.com/furaread6co.html

yea I got mine from them too, got the 240motoring decal and everything. I'll re-order and sell off mine versus drilling.
