Turbo size poll

I need to compile some info off of you turbo guys. Basically what I'm trying to find out is what exhaust a/r housing you're using if you have a T3 hot side, and roughly where you're spooling at. VG30E, VE30DE, and VQ30DE guys only just to keep the numbers relatively close.

Basically this is the info I'm looking for:
T3 turbine a/r
Ball bearing or journal bearing
RPM in which turbo is at full spool
Engine type

Thanks in advance!

Dont forget to include what type of setup you have.. whether it be a Reverse Y-pipe, or custom or anything else.. That can Greatly Effect spool time.

VQ30
T3/T04S, non ball bearing
.81AR hot side
Full boost at approximately 3500 rpm. Starts boosting below 3000.
Setup is custom, but turbo feed pipe is pretty much like the PFI setup.

What kind of turbo would I need to approximately have it start boosting at 3000 until maybe 5500-6000 or...?

I'm not so much trying to find a good turbo as I am just compiling data. I think for my VG30E the T04E 50 trim fits very well. Should support upwards of nearly 480 hp at around 24 psi or so.

I'm just basically wanting to see what everyone is running and the spool times they're seeing. I have a couple ideas I want to mess around with in an attempt to speed up spooling while keeping the top end.

Turbonetics T66 .84AR exhaust
starts building boost at 2500rpm
full boost depends on the psi I am shooting for IIRC
13psi at 4200
18psi at 4800
20psi at 5000

This is on a VQ35 with 9.4:1 CR

In which gear are you reaching 9.5 PSI by 3800 RPMs?

Is this from a low RPM roll?

What I am really curious about is from say a 4th gear roll starting below 2000 RPMs, when do you reach 5, 8, and 10 PSI.

Since I am getting that exact turbo, I am extremely interested.

Thanks!

That's exactly the range I want and hopefully I will get it because I will have the same set up y pipe and turbo specs wise.

Cool, I was worried that you might be posting 3800 RPM figures for something like a 4th gear roll (manual tranny).

I am hoping my combo will spool to ~8 PSI around 3000 RPMs with that turbo from a 4th gear roll (manual tranny).
