Why a CCW Straight Discharge Blower?

I was looking at t-trim blowers online and was thinking. Are the mounting points of the blower opposite or just the scroll?

from what ive read i think the mounting is different, and the blower points in a different direction for any other direction discharge
edit*** if you wanna use a different blower
this is the best blower that would fit V-7 JT-Trim (ccw, and straight discharge)

I was wondering for the mounting position. I might want to do a projector retrofit and currently don't have enough room with how deep the cefiro's go.

Steve,

The back plate on the every Vortech blower is the same. Mounting is not a problem. The curved discharge will be a problem though. It will put the air somewhere around the fender well and will most likely require a pipe across the front of the car like Stephanmax did. It will require you to run piping down and around and up. You may need to measure and make sure the actual "scroll curved part" does not go farther than needed. There really isnt that much room there.

Matt, I don't have a problem with the straight discharge. The problem is the ccw? I want it to go out the top of the motor.

Steve,

Impossible. If you look at any convention clockwise vortech blowers, its totally backwards.

Maybe I'm not understanding what you want to do

Have the oulet on top facing towards the top of the motor. I probably wouldn't do it anyway, but for those that are looking for blowers, a discussion like this might be useful.

i know this may sound a little unconventional, why not try cutting the curved section off the blower making it straight?
