What does this plug go to?

I will try to describe it best I can.
I am looking at my motor and find a plug just hanging on the back side of my motor and I don't know where it goes to.

I comes froma wiring harness that is on the top left side (passanger) of the car. There is a very thick bundle that runs across the top of the timming chain cover. At the back, near the firewall there is a smaller bundle that heads to the back of the motor. I then attaches to a small box (about the size of a box of paper clips) that is attached to the rear head then it continues to a 6 wire plug.
That is the plug that I have no idea where the hell it goes.

Can someone look at their car and tell me where it should go.

Just in case 2000 Max, like everyone doesn't already know that with me.

I found the part number to the wire 24079-2Y900. It is a engine wiring harness and it is associated with theinjector harness.

So the other end should go to the EGR? Where? I am going to look tomorrow but a heads up would be good.
And thanks for the information

Thank you very much. It was exactly that. Right below the unit were the 2 hoses go into there was no wire coming out of where a plug belonged.
I guess when Nissan put my new motor in the left that unplugged along with all the other stuff they messed up.

Nismotech1 thanks once again. Hopefully this will take care of my idle problems and the car dieing when I pulled up to a stop or red light.

I know a clogged EGR can cause those issues Gabriel, so an unplugged EGR valve probably defaults to closed and would do the same.

Good find and good help from Nismo.
