E-Manage

At one time I found a posting of a schematic of the E-Manage to the VQ30de computer. If any one has that on there system some were please let me know. I'm putting it on nextweek and a diagram would help.
Thanks,
Choray

I think Hal has it on his site. The site address has changed so I don't know it off the top of my head but it's been posted in here. He posted the change in a thread he made about it probably 3 months back. Shouldn't be hard to find will probably just take a bit of time if you don't have search.

I'm considering doing this install as well...was leaning towards the SAFCII + some wideband kit but it seems this has it all. How difficult is this thing really?

I'm N/A and soon to be spraying NX wet kit 75+ on a Z32 Fuel Pump. I'd like to tune and squeeze every bit I can without traveling 3hrs to a dyno.

Trust me its intimiating. The SAFC II works great at WOT and at extreamly conservative driving. But that one time you boost up just a little bit to where the FMU increases the fuel pressure you can feel a lag and some times a backfire. If your going to stay N/A the SAFC II will work like a champ. If your going turbo or SC go ahead and get the bigger injectors, Adjustable fuel pressure reg, and the E-manage that way you don't have the surge prob. Its a little more expensive but more accurate. I don't know if others are having this prob but it irks me to death.

Yes...I was already S/C'd so am running the 300ZTT fuel pump. I do plan to get up to 100+ shots eventually. Possibly go Turbo one day. I'm thinking I might be better off to just go ahead and Emanage now. I still need the question answered on if that eliminates the need for WO2 to tune. Anyone?

Sorry dude. Above it said you were N/A, My bad. A WO2 will help with the daily driving aspect, but to get a proper tune at WOT you really need to be on a dyno. Its hard to tune doing a full pull in 4th gear on the street, because of all the people zoned out talking on their cell phones. 1st has little boost and 2nd 3rd, rev too fast and by the time you're at the top of 3rd 90MPH is comming up. So, yes a WO2 will help but it isnt a substitute for a dyno.

I was trying to do the responsible thing and send out a "Public Service Anouncement", but My a$$ dyno did have a good approximation before it was strapped down. But that is easy to do with the SAFC II.

yes, thats the MAF in/out

wire the emanage MAF "out"(green) wire to the lead going into the ECU and the emanage MAF "in" (white) wire to the lead going to the actual MAF

The harnesses are now assembled but I still have a white and red and a green and red left with no home. The good manual is in Who Flung Poo and it looks like imporant info, but alass i can't speak Who Flung Poo!!!! Are you guys using them or just cutting them off. I imagine one of them is the VTEC wire, which does me no good but clarification would be nice. I've found that the only settings that i need to set are on the inside to 7-0-1. If I'm wrong let me know.

Those two are from the optional injector harness and are for running sub injectors. See manual page 23.

I plan on those being used to control my water injection, since you can have maps to tune.
