I will def go to this. As far as me racing in the 1/4, probably not. 16 runs would shame us....My car looks fast, but just isn't lolol.

I know that, but what I meant is why do they put ugly girls and often ugly cars on the flyers which are supposed to PROMOTE the event lol.

I think there is an all motor fwd section...but there are all motor civic running 12's so I doubt you would have a chance...

easy to do, but that will only shed maybe 100-200 lbs. Not sure what I can trap in the 1/4 but most 3.5 untuned have hit roughly high 13s.

I can get a wide band and do some tuning and with the weight loss, good launch and specifically inflated tires maybe I can hit 13.5

get some cams, p%p head, valve job, tune and you should hit 12's, if not, get some spray

Cams (maybe 272s), head work, valve job, higher rev limit, and aggressive tune and I think 12's are possible...just depends on what other cars are running... I have a 97..not the lightest but not the heaviest...

aproxx 2900.. maybe 3k with me in it...

and 2+2=4 whats your point?

The fact is a regular mustang gt is just as fast as a 03 maxima 6mt. the vq35 puts out almost as many hp as fords pushrod v8 in their so called pony car. What they need to do is get some DOHC and update their v8 to todays standards.

I love v8s but ford is behind...

[bigleman] A cam in the block is worth two in the head [/bigleman]

I haven't seen a stock Maxima trap a low or mid 13 in stock trim .. and I've seen plenty of GTs do it. I would like to see a 3.5 6MT go ball to ball with a 4.6L 5MT Termi though.

I don't know what you've been reading .. but ford has put their DOHC in the `10 Mustang.

1) 5.5 5th gens run a 14 flat. Since deezy has a 4th gen which weigh less, I would assume his weight power ratio would be better and thus would get below that.

a terminator and 3.5 6mt? you're talking about a 400 hp car against one with 280 or so? rwd v fwd. lol unfair race by fair. You're taking the argueably highest trim of a sports car(the cobra supercharged), and pitting it against a fwd sedan?

And as far as the 10 mustang goes, its about time ford stepped it up. Took em long enough
