so i got pulled over for doing 62 in a 35 by a state trooper in orlando. he told me my tail lights were illegal because they have a white light on them and my exhaust is illegal because "its modified to be louder than nissan originally made it." sounds like bull**** to me.
luckily, no tickets and my tint is very illegal too.
RWD = fun? Yeah, maybe if you only watch Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift.

He is correct, tails cannot show any white light whatsoever (unless reversing). There is a technicality in the FL law that allows them to write tickets for aftermarket exhausts...but it's usually a fix it ticket.
Dont drive 62 in a 35 and you'll be ok

At 62 in a 35, your tail lights and exhaust should be the least of your worries.
Yup...

If a cop pulls you over in the State of FL for Noise Pullution Ticket
Ask the cop if he has a decable meter and if it has been recently calibrated.
I belive the state of FL is 95db , if your under that then your good.
If he does NOT have a meter , then off you go.
If anyone has issues with loud exhausts in Florida, tell them to come spend four days here in Nashville. They'll never complain again...there are tons of trucks around here that are just straight-piped with huge exhaust tips...

Loud Truck > Loud Car
Too bad most Nashville folk can't drive worth a piss when they're on city streets.

82 dBA @ 50 feet while doing the speed limit. That's fairly loud, given the distance and open air.

I think everyone is over looking the main problem. If you we're going 35-40, you possibly wouldnt hear your "modified exhaust." (as much anyway) Depending on whether you were cruising when you go by him or excelerating. Now you were going 62 in a 35. If I were a state trooper doing my job and happen to hear an exhuast- then clock someone going 62 in a 35. Its probably because your exhuast was out of control loud for this area.
State troopers dont mess around bro and you should be lucky he/she didnt just give you 4 tickets for all the crap you got going on thats illegal on your ride. I'm sure your ride looks great and you want sympathy but the trooper gave you the sympathy already. Go buy your mother or girlfriend something nice with the 400$ you just saved. Pay it forward man

I hate driving in Nashville. It annoys the hell out of me. People around here drive like idiots.
I just moved to Louisiana from TN like two months ago. Trust me the loud pipes on trucks increase by like 40 percent when you cross over into La. I think it must be a under lined rule if your 16 and have a z-71 you gotta have glass packs , lol. What ever happened to mangnaflow , flowmaster , etc.
