I'm in the process of replacing my original engine. At 155k miles, the bottom end is trashed. (Crazy Story). Anyhow, I purchased another engine. It is a fed spec. DE-k I picked up for $400. I noticed two sensors are missing. The speedometer and park/neutral switch sensors that hook up to my 5 speed are missing. Is this a major problem? Does anyone have experience swapping out their engine who would like to help? Just name your price.
So far, I've removed my gearbox, crossmember, and majority of the electrical nest. My y-pipe bolts are rusted solid. The head of the bolt turns but the threaded sections doesn't. I left 'em alone when I seen that happen. I'll go in from the manifolds instead.
