Any good paint shops around Knoxville, TN?

Hey guys I am looking for a good paint shop around Knoxville area. My stupid co-worker somehow managed to back his car up and scraped the side of my bumper. Tore all the paint off, so now I need to get it fixed. The only thing I am going to hate is getting the paint to match since it is the pearl white.

Let me know if you got a suggestion. Thanks

It's in Strawberry Plains, but worth the drive. I had our Mazda3 rear bumper repainted there and he did a good job and did it for a great price. Much better than ANYONE in the area quoted and the paint matched perfectly.

I'm taking my I35 there to get the front bumper repainted once I ever get the time.

Oh well I will check onto them. About how much did the rear bumper repainting cost you?

Has anyone ever used Lusk Body Company? One of our buddies works there but I havent checked into it yet but I have heard great things about them.

$200 to repaint the rear bumper.

I think he quoted me $250 to repaint the front bumper on my I35 at the time.

Oh ok that doesnt sound to bad. Atleast my buddy is going to pay for it. The only thing I am worried about is the matching since it is the pearl paint. I dunno if I will need the whole bumper painted anyways if they can match it really close. Id like for it to be perfect but I doubt it will be possible since the paint is 10 years old and has faded. Arent they able to match your paint on your body now and then make a mixture?

Here a pic of what it looks like now. It not to bad. It will prob need some minor wetsanding but that will be it. The paint has peeled a little and has got a few chunks in it. But the bumper is fine.

Looks basically like what we had fixed on the Mazda3. As far as the paint-matching, I'm no expert, so I'd call and ask him, but IIRC, I thought I remembered him saying (for the Mazda) that they would take the fuel-filler door off, send it to the paint shop, and match the paint from that.

I didn't pay too close attention though as he seemed to know what he was doing, so I felt fairly confident that it'd be done right (and it was).

So..not only will you be driving around with a scraped bumper, but now you have to endure the loss of your fuel door too? That's no fun.

Except that your car is at the body shop while this is all taking place...so you're not driving around.

i've heard Randy's Customs in pigeon forge does really good work. 453-1813. I believe the guy who owns it has a great collection of cars and is very meticulous about the work, he does some high end cars, it maybe pricey.

I'm going to say a good body shop will be able to match your bumper pretty close, but I don't think it will be 100% perfect.
