No.....I don't have one.....but don doesn't make em for the NON-VSLD 3rd gens. WTF! Thats like 75% of all the 3rd gen autos. I'm not trying to sound *****y cuz I know he can only work so fast but only making them for the vsld auto's is like cutting yourself out of the market share. Any ET on the NON vsld tranny (ALL gxe's and 89-91se's).

Slugish shifter,

You need to check your tags on your tranny. If you have a RE4F04 tranny on your 3rd gen, you can get this upgrade. There are PLENTY of RE4FO4 trannies that do not have VLSD trannies.

Don.......

Not trying to sound like a dork here (hey I might even be wrong ) But if you have a VG AUTO then you have the RE4F02. If you have a VE AUTO then you have the RE4F04 w/vsld. There are NO 3rd gen max's that have the 04 unless they are ve auto. Now our 98 Altima se auto does have that tranny without the vsld. Moms car says RE4F04.

So bottom line....if you get a used 02 valve body from a 3rd gen can you do it ????

I have never had a chance to look at an F02 valvebody. I never specified VG or VE, just 3rd gen's with the F04.

tag

this may be non-related. so if it is please ignore. on the 4th gen cars, the silver tag under the hood, on the firewall will let u know whether u have viscous or non. if u have a V starting your tranaxle serial # you have VISCOUS lsd, if u have an R u don't have VLSD. this may not apply to 3rd gens, don't know. but no one ever told me about the 4th so i am just sharing.

Honestly........I have been asked to do a mod for the 3rd gen cars for a YEAR, I've got one available, offered a super-low price to roll it out to the board......and so far NO TAKERS....So.......do I do the same for the F02 tranny and meet the demand, and then the same guys not want to get it? Its a hard call.

Everyone keeps BEGGING for modifications for these cars. Here they are, tested and true. Ok, here's the mods, I've called the bluff. The ball is in your court.
