Is this 94 a GXE or SE?

I went and test drove a 94 Maxima today. Looking for a good second car. Anyways the dealer says that it is a GXE but it has leather, sunroof, bose, cd, and everything. Just wondering if you could get all those options on a gxe. I also found where the previous owner had run kbb value on it in the glove box and he had put 94 SE so now I am really confused. I was just wondering if it had 160hp or 190hp engine in it. A carfax would be nice if anyone can get one. The VIN is JN1HJ01F3RT227930. By the way it is an auto but that doesnt really matter to me. Definately been taken care of. Thanks.

GXE = VG30E = 160 ponies = VIN: JN1H

SE = VE30DE = 190 ponies = VIN: JN1E

And yes, the GXE came with all that. If it has rear disc brakes, then it should have ABS as well. Also, if you see pretty red valve covers in the engine bay, then you definitely have a VG30E....

I guess that it is a GXE then. Oh well, anybody able to run a carfax. It has 108,000 miles in great shape, one owner, and they are asking 6450 for it. Is this a good deal? I could probably offer them 6000. Thanks

That's now a good deal at all, but all dealers will be high. Find a 92-94 SE 5 speed from a private party and pay the same or less.

Lol...I've got my brother and friends (hardcore Honda guys) able to tell the difference between GXE's and SE's, and 89-91's and 92-94's, AND VE's and VG's
