slight problem.
after changing the fuel filter, we let it sit for an hour or 2, and then we went to go test it out.....well it started up fine, took a few more seconds than usual but thats expected.....then we take her around the block, shifting smooth, then when we come around a corner, and it just DIES.....middle of a curve.....my friend was driving, if it were me i woulda panicked and slammed into the wall....well the steering wheel had locked completely, and it stalled....we popped the hood, and there were no leaks....we did however, experience an unusual hissing sound from the intake....we thought it was the plug or the boost sensor or something, so we re-attached the stock air scoop, and still the same hissing noise.....during the installation, we had dis-attached the whole intake setup directly at the throttle body, and we tried reattaching it several times, but still the hissing sound was there.....i checked, there was no leaks in the fuel filter, it wasnt from the DIY intake, nor from the throttle body, but exactly from the K+N filter itself....anyone know what the problem with this is? it sounds exactly like a tire losing air pressure, that "sssssssss" sound.....do i need a new filter? sounds like mine has a whole in it or something....other than that the car runs fine, but i couldnt find any open road to open her up on to see if she went above 120, but first thing tomorrow morning i will.....ok so with that sound and hte car stalling a few minutes after driving her (the first time after install), should i worry too much about those?? well sorry for it being so long again...thanx
