Difference between a VG and a VE Nissan Oil Filter

If you have the VG engine, don't worry about the differences. The VG one is Nissan blue while the VE one has a different part number and is a light gray color. If you look at the filter box, the gray filter is also used for all Nissans utilizing VTC technology(or lack of apparently)
VG ones are cheaper also.
