Hey all,

I am sending my Y-pipe to Cattman to have flex put in it, because I have one of the really old ones, and now i'm getting a supercharger, and Brian Catts recommended to me to get it upgraded to the 3 in. pipe. Should I do that? Wouldn't I lose some torque? Also, will I need a 3 in. RT cat for it?

Thanks for any help...

3inch is fine. but not necessary.

2.5 systems are fine too.

If you get a 3inch Y, you'll need a 3 inch cat. With the 3 inch cat.. youll need a 3inch Bpipe/Muffler.

To be a true 3inch anyways. You can always have a 3in pipe that tails off into a 2.5 .. but whats the point of that then?
