OK my opinion on the whole thing about these cheap fords goes like this...the maxima when drivin feels smooth...alot of power and very swift through the 5 speed..ive driven a svt before and they really feel cheap...no offense to svt owners but you tromp on the pedal to get goin and it doesnt feel appealling at all...once you go nissan you never go back remember that

Maxima owners who say other cars suck are the ones that suck.

I agree with this post being unnecessary, but he does have a point about the "cheap feeling" and "rough shifting" when dealing with american cars.

Have you driven a saturn?
Have you driven a mustang?
Have you driven a camaro?
Have you driven basically any chevy/GM stick or ford stick?

I don't think you can any rougher! European and Asain rides are night and day compared with American ones.

Just stating the facts, sir.

Is this in any means needed

Anything that you are wanting to say about or read about he svt contour can be read in my earlier post about my race with one. Things got a little heated in that thread but they have now cooled down so please dont try and start the fire again. I even made peace with the contour guys. I'm not sure what your whole point was here but I dont see one other that trying to start something.
If you want go read that other thread it has 102 posts.
The contour has a very smooth shift what are you talking about it rough. I know that the maxima seems to me to have a long throw and a shifter thats really high like a truck. The svts is a factory short throw shifter with a lighter flywheel than stock also. I see nothing wrong with it.
Once again I think this thread should be closed due to its flaming nature.
