Where to buy OEM ECU?

Well, my mechanic has had a lot of trouble figuring out what's wrong with my ECU. When he tries to use a scanner, the data appears, then disappears. The problem has gotten worse over the last few weeks, and he can't figure out what's going on. He told me I pretty much have to go to a dealership for this kind of computer thing, and there's a possibility that my ECU could need replacement. If this is indeed true, I would like to get a jump on finding a reasonably priced OEM ECU. Ideas guys?

Try this website, I found one here for my Volvo. Mine was for a rare 5 speed of which I was told out of the 1000 automatic Volvos that were made only 1 5-speed was made. I paid $300 for my spare ECU, I would think yours would be easier to find and cheaper. Good luck.
