Strut Bar

Hello All,
I am in the processes of buying a strut bar for my Max2002 and just wondering if I can get the opinions of the crew here as to which brand is the best. I have seen a wide variety on ebay, ranging from 15 bucks to 150 bucks? Thanks!

I tested the one that Custommaxima.com has and according to the owner Greg, they will be available for our 2K2's very shortly. Go to their website and look at it. He is going to be sending me the red one.
Greg and his staff will take good care of you.

Greg had this bar developed exclusively for custommaxima.com. He stands by what he sells.

His description from their web site:

"Adding a front strut bar to your Maxima will stiffen the front end giving you better cornering, and more control. If you are into racing or are an aggressive driver then you need this front strut bar. Available in polished, blue, and red. Beware of cheap imatations that are hollow and tend to bend. This strut bar is SOLID Aluminum and will never bend under hard cornering.
Matching Rear Strut Bar Coming Soon."

All bars do the same thing, it is a matter of just how much you are willing to spend on it. To me, their bar had both great looks and strong support.

Bomz FSTB

I just installed a Bomz racing FSTB on my 2000 Max and it looks great. Took about 10 minutes and no fitment problem at all. Plus it costed 34.99 shipped. Good price!!!!

Have you noticed any performance increase in handling?

You will not notice much in the handling department. You will notice on bumpy pavement or hard cornering, but it's subtle. The best mod price/performance is the RSB which you will notice an immediate difference in handling.

Just like Virus said. You can't notice the improvement until bumping road or hard cornering.. But for $35 it's worth it even if it just for looks.

other than aesthetics and pricing, they all work fine.

but you need to get an RSB in conjunction with the FSTB
