He's a smart man granny shifting like that. Those T56 6 speeds aren't that strong. His twin turbo LS1 would be a low 9-second car is he had an automatic. The autos are far better once you dip into the 12s and below. They can take more abuse and they'll allow you to launch like a SOB.
