sprints + kyb agx = dealer couldn't do alignment
ok after few weeks of waiting for my springs to setlle down i finally decided to get it aligned - with discount cupon in my hand i went to the dealer
-they sweated all over the car and finally said - it could not be done due to vehicle being lowered - something about their aligment computer wouldn't do it and eyes didn't line up
my felling were all mixed up especially after one of those guys said
" he should never bring this lowrider here"
anyway - i grabbed my keys - didn't pay dime and left
does anybody know good shop in chicago land area that will align my car
any info would be greatly appreciated
Nick
97 Se automagic,kyb agx,sprints,clear corners all around , frankencar

actually it's not bs.
I had the same problem for 4 shops locally. It depends on how they're system is set up. On my sprints, the lip dropped to far so that it blocked the 2 sensors that they use.
I ended up going to a goodyear service center and paid 70 bucks

I have lifetime wheel alignments for all my cars. I paid $100-$125 for each car through the years, but I think it's by far worth it. Ask you Goodyear or Bridgestone tire shop. I get the cars realigned every year or under special circumstance (ie. lowering, change of suspension component, really bad dip in the road while the wheel is turned). I figure a computerized wheel alignment runs about $50...my Maxima has had 5 alignments in the last 8 months.
1st time) after I installed my AGX's
2nd time) I was cut off and swerved to a curb at 20 MPH...offset my steering.
3rd time) after I installed the Stillen Camber plates
4th time) after I did some major drifting in the rain
5th time) after I hit a bad dip while making a right turn at 25 MPH
