Busted CV boot
When we were putting in my UDP over the weekend, we noticed that I have a busted CV boot.
Since I am lowered, do you think the dealership is going to try to deny warranty service on it? It's powertrain, not suspension, right? If they do try to deny me, what do I tell them to fight back?

What do you mean by 'busted'? If just plain deteriorated, etc. you may have a chance at the dealer...if 'cut', 'abraded', etc. you may have a fight since they can easily claim you did it when modifying the suspension.

It is cut/cracked.
It is cut/cracked.
If 'dry' cracked, since you are in the right climate for it, you can always try the 'I have to park it on hot asphalt with no cover' story and see if they buy it as contributing to the problem...
long shot, but sometimes long shots do come in...

Like 'dry' cracked or more like debris of some kind hit it and cut it?
