I am looking to buy shocks for my max and i know of koni's, tokico's and kyb's.....can anyone tell me the difference between them and give me a recomendation on which one's to buy???? thanks for the help..

ummmmmmmmm

i know that KONIs are very stiff and pricey
and uhhhh Tokicos dont last long
and i dunno about KYBs

Koni's, unless you want to wait and see when the KYB AGX's supposedly come out. Do a search on KYB and you should find some threads about them.

are you lowered?...cuz i know tokicos str8 suck they go bad in around 6ks. konis suppose to be the best ones, but they cost ~$500. and they aren't bolts on either. the kybs adjustables arent out yet, but everybody has high expections for them.

I have koni adjustables(paid 120 each) and they are a huge improvement over the tok i had. We have it adjusted to the hardest setting and it offers much better control. I guess we were floating around so much before, because the steering even feels more precise. The modification is only to the front and it was not bad.

yes

i will be lowered....i am in the process of getting springs....so tokico's do not last long.....koni's are good but cost me...and no one knows about the kyb's...hmmm thanks everyone..




i still have lots to consider..

The KYB's are stock replacements, they're not performance shocks, nor are they meant to handle lowering springs.
