4DSC Decals - ARE BACK IN STOCK!
The first run I made of the original 4DSC decals was a tremendous success.
At the request of many members representing all generations of Maximas, I have made another short run.
While this particular decal is a 3rd gen factory exclusive, I wanted to make these available to all generation owners.
I have made a limited run of (100) 'inside mount' 4DSC Decals.
NEW addition: I also have done a run of (50) outside window mount versions. OUTSIDE MOUNT DECALS ARE NOW SOLD OUT:
For those of you who always wanted them, or those who had them but lost them due to peeling off over time and dying natural death (Chronic Decalitus)... now is the time to jump on them.
- They measure 4 x 1.5 inches.
- White typeface on clear backing.
Pricing is as follows:
- (1 decal) for $4 + $1 shipping = $5
- (2 decals) for $7 + $1 shipping = $8
Orders will be fulfilled on a first come first serve basis: If there is demand for more I will run another batch.
I will keep buyers appraised of remaining stock.
There is no need to put your name down in this thread. Just go ahead and make payment (PayPal only) to account: "hadman [at] rogers.com".
--> link PayPal
**PLEASE INDICATE ON YOUR PAYPAL PAYMENT IF YOU WANT INSIDE OR OUTSIDE MOUNT DECALS**
Below is an example of the decal (and proof of my inventory for wary buyers).
Of course, I have been here on the org for 7 years - that should put any fears to rest.
Regards,
Hadman

I'm guessing you mean you want an exterior mounted decal? I don't think enough people would want an exterior mount version for me to justify running a batch. But find me a 100 people who do want one and I will do it. I have 20% tint and still prefer in interior mount.

This is a representation of the decal on a 5th gen. This is a photoshop (of the actual decal). I didn't have a 5th gen handy to snap a pic of. I'm quite certain an original will look better.
5th and 4th gen owners: please take a photo for me if you can and post it here once you receive them.

Thanks, but it wouldn't really help, mainly because it's exterior mount. And it's also not the same decal. I'd rather just use my own pictures, or one of the guys who purchased can add a pic. Cheers.

I just wanted to add this link, which explains how to effectively install a decal. It's trickier than one may think getting the placement just the way you want it, and making sure you don't have air trapped behind it.
There are actually handy tips for getting it done right.
One link I found on YouTube can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt0Hv...eature=related.
While this video was posted for a outside window mount, and the specific product they are covering comes with an additional application spray, the same rules apply for our decals. The guy narrating the video has a great voice too. Worth a watch.
One thing I should mention, if it's not obvious, is they use an exacto knife to cut away the backing paper. As this is an interior mount and many of us have tint... don't use an exacto knife! lol
Scissors are your friend.
24 Decals left...

Decals arrived today! They look great although I haven't put them on the Max yet but I know they will look great! Thank you for recreating the 4DSC stickers and being an honest seller. I have always wanted one and had started making a reproduction graphic of my own. Yours turned out great and I'm thankful to have a set.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
There had been much talk about it over the years, but nobody acted on it. I just wanted to make a contribution.
I've had nothing but positive response and that makes me happy. A lot of people were especially pleased by the price I offered them for. So it's a win situation for everybody. They have been selling at a good pace - 84 of the 100 decals are paid for and delivered.
I was able to snap a shot of the decal mounted on a 5th gen today at our local meet. This member's car is tinted at 20% and the stealth appearance looks great in my opinion - like it was delivered that way from the factory. This is even more evident looking at it against the outside mounted decal he has.
(that is not me in the photo - just another decal admirer lol)
There are 16 decals remaining!!

Again, the only difference between the decal in the video here, and the one we are installing is the mounting location (inside vs. outside mount). As such, our decal will appear in reverse to us when we install from the inside, but the other steps outlined in the video are the same.
And of note again, they cut their backing paper with an exacto knife. Our application being an inside mount, anyone with tint can not use a knife to cut the backing paper -- use scissors.
* I found I had an extra sheet of 6 decals, so the current inventory of decals remaining now stands at 22.*
