Second round of mods for the Spring!

OEM side skirts finally installed! Had these since December?

Blacked out the chrome trim with Trimbrite Blackout tape to match the black roof

Ionic 1/2 roof spoiler painted black to match the roof too and Sycefiro's VIP trunk lip! Had that since....October?

wow looks really clean, nice work man. needs some wheels, imo, but the skirts and trunk lip really give more aggressive body lines

Roof spoiler was from Ionic Dynamic, check the Group Buy section for the thread.

Lip spoiler was from sycefiro (Simon), he is a member here who sells lots of parts from Asia.

The car looks great. The skirts make the car look less naked. I need some.

Quick question, is the infiniti emblem on the i35 grill removable? If so, is there an indent the shape of the emblem? And also, is the black out tape available in stores?

sycefiro is his username, you can PM him. Although he isn't on much, so e-mail him, the address is in his profile.

The 19s I was going to buy I opted not to after reading about the harsh ride. So now a new search for 18s.

That's the only VIP Trunk Lip spoiler that I have in stock... Only 2 left.
You can meet up and pick up in NJ if you like.

Send me an email to sycefiro@yahoo.com

Thanks Nan for posting the pix up.

Can't mount splash guards up front when side skirts are installed.

Same goes for the rear...I had to remove mine when I had the rear lips installed.

Oh noes... I didn't know you guys dont have special splash guards for the sideskirts like the 5.5max. Maybe you can trim them up to fit.

Ya, the front splash guards won't fit with the side skirts. And once I get the front lip in I will smoke the tails a bit. Not complete dark smoke, but a lighter tint to make the red more ruby dark-ish red.

I THINK my tail tint is 35% but it's a little too dark for your car IMO. Maybe something like 50% or maybe as light as 70%.

i think you need to do something about the amber in your tailight. maybe some clear bulbs that light amber if they have bulbs like that.

The amber in the tail is not because of a yellow bulb. There is a plastic bulb condom if you will, which is yellow and part of the tail light, and must be removed to have the cleared look.

Guess what arrived today? My Ionic front lip! Thanks to Jose for the quick shipping

Will be dropping off the car on Monday and should be done by Wednesday? Or maybe I should install it now and leave it unpainted ala Honda style

hey,
i have the full aero kit just sitting in my living room now waiting to be painted.
i'm leaving the states for 6 weeks tho, so i'm not bothering with that right now. but how are you planning on installing the kit? i looked at the splashguards and it seems that they are mounted with little screws. is that what you will do with the lip and how did you mount the side skirts? I mean 3m tape would probably work, but i don't know if i'd trust only that

I couldn't tell you lol, I don't work in the body shop

I know for the OEM side skirts, there are tabs on the inside, which will require holes to be drilled into the body, and then secured with 3M tape. The front lip will prob use the OEM mounting points in the wheelwell and then push tabs/screws underneath.

so did you let a shop do it? I mean if they won't rip me off it sounds like a much better option lol. How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking

You were planing on painting and installing it yourself?

Every shop is different, for side skirts the avg. price is $150/side.
