The Clock Issue

I have a clock in the car just like many of you.

But my clock next to never works. If i hit it then it might turn on and always reset to 1:00

I searched but didn't really bring up what i wanted to know...

Does anyone have this issue?

How do i get to the back of the clock?

The plastic seems like i could pull it off but it might break.

It is possible to take the clock out and apart. I did this a while back to do that white clock mod with the transparent blue paper.

I can't however figure out why my clock keeps: flickering, turning off, randomly turning on when I hit it. I was guessing it might be the dimmer wire being loose or either the plug that goes in it.

It'll be awesome to whoever figure out why our clocks are doing this.

start by prying out the top air vents and work your way down

The whole top piece right before the AC part should pop off. be careful the trim around the A/C vents is flimsy...
