Looking for brake pads

I'm looking to change my rotors and brake pads. I chose to go with the slotted and drilled rotors, but still don't know which pads to go with.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for pads that don't burry my rims in dust! I appreciate any suggestions!

First of all go w/ blank rotors unless you want looks. Hawk HPS are one of the best pads for a buck. And if your car is 00-01 I have a set of fronts FOR SALE.

For daily driving I would suggets Brembo Blanks with Hawk HPS Pads. My buddies got some slotted and cross drilled rotors on his maxima and when those Hawk HPS pads warm up....its like hitting a brick wall...a bit overkill. Brembo Blanks would be your best bet. Also look up EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads.

My brother has same combo on his car. He claims noticeable difference.

I'm going for performance, not looks. One of my friends told me that the slotted and drilled are better than blanks, but I'm going to take the word of people here. My car is a 98 I30.

I do appreciate everyones comments!!!

The Hawk HPS pads have the same stopping power as OEM when COLD. But when they're warmed up like I said it's like hitting a brick wall.

I have cross-drilled brembos and hawk hps pads on my car. I am not crazy about the setup to tell you the truth. Yes it's better than stock, but it's not THAT much better (at least in my case). In my previous car (RX-7) I used Axxis Ultimate and those really made a big difference on that car. I think I will try Axxis next on my i35.

Finally got my signature combo installed today. Well I can tell there is a difference. Unlike before they so smooth and quite. I used to get vibrations even under 60mph. Tonight I'm going to bed-in them properly. I hope they will improve even further.

well, i bought Raybestos quietstops last week and will install them the coming weekend ... and then the bed-in procedure ... i bought my 98 i30 with 96k miles and now i'm at 139k, haven't touched the brake pads (which are OEM) until now ... hope the pads will last atleast 40k or 3 yrs .. heard the Hawk hps dust lot more than OEM and quietstops, so I didn't get them ...

Still on OEM rotos and they still got lot of life in them ... just need to resurface them now ... the parking brake doesn't work properly, need to take care of it too ...

Honestly, I don't know what pads I had previously but in a few days my rims are still as clean as the day I cleaned them.
