Anything else needed fo a direct swap?! : )
Getting ready to swap a 2001 VQ into the 95...I understand it should just plug and play but is there anything I need to watch out for when performing the swap?! wires going to different places or engines parts I may not need...? Any help will aide me greatly...

Soldiering the injector harnesses ... that should be the only slight differences. You have the RPM switch to control the VI? You using the 5th gen TB with IACV or 4th gen IACV ... or heck 4th gen TB. You need to have those adaptors ready if you are using any 4th gen stuff in terms of the TB and IACV. EGR should be the same as long as you have the 2001 guide tube. Watch out for those swirl valves and such

Or if you don't intend on making too much power, you can avoid the injector soldering, swirl valve removal work, and the use of adjustable fuel pressure regulator (to avoid being too rich at WOT. Just use your DE lower plenum and port match and tap with you DEK upper as you would with an intake swap.
