Need help assessing a problem

So i was driving to school today, i turned of the thruway and get to a hill about 2 miles from school. Light was red, car was fine, but as i go to lift the clutch and go the car stalls, not my fault at all. Go to start the car an nuthin, no crank no whines, just silent. The antenna didnt even go down, i couldnt open windows, lights went off, totally weird. With the door opened it made that beep that we all know so well, but it was weird, it was kinda spastic, just didnt sound like a normal beeping. Tow truck came and tried chargin it, but he said it wasnt gettin any juice at all.

Any ideas?

Batteries can also get to a point where they cannot hold a charge. Just a heads-up...

Make sure your terminals are clean and tight. Went around a turn a little too quick 1 day and the car died. Got out and the terminal was loose. Hooked it back up temporarily (nuthin to tighten with but my hands) and tightened it later on, never had the problem again.

hmm, i understand where ur going with this, guys, but the tow truck came and tried to jump it and nothing happened, he did say the terminals were ****in gross, but still, it started fine that morning. Im waiting for the shop to call back, i was thinking maybe alternator, is that a possibility?

nah!! With the alternator the car runs as normal but you the batt light and brake will both be on. Your best bet is the terminals. When you put the key on does the car have the lights on an dthe dash flashes? Is there a considerable amount of low light in the dash lights? If so i would really go with the terminals. Even if the car was being charged or jumped if the terminals are loose then there is really no use. G/L anywayz.

Alternators can go bad and drain your battery completely too. I would have them both checked out.

Yeh im thinking its the terminals, the guys at the shop told me the car started fine for them, so i go to pick it up and it wouldnt start. I look under the hood and the batteries terminals were corroded to hell. Could the corrosion be into the wires already?
