Amp recommendation

I have a JL pro wedge box with 2 10wo's. Each sub has 125 watts of power. Since its a wedge box I believe it is set at 2 ohms. My budget is at $200-$250. What amps do you guys recommend?

? the box has nothing to do with resistance. iirc the 10w0 is either 4 or 8 ohm, SVC.

If it's set at 4 ohms what kind of amp would you suggest? Mono or 2-channel?

either, whichever amp you like better. both would work.. take a look at this, it should help you.

Thanks for the link.
The subs I have are discontinued so I'm not sure if they are 4 or 8 ohms. But I think I should be able to find an affordable amp for this box.

Just because the subs are discontinued doesn't mean that information is unavailable. AGAIN test them with a MM.

Won't the subs say what they are on the back of the speaker? Not sure about your specific model, but look at the back of the sub and it will either tell the you impedence or it will tell you the model # which will tell you the impedence....if you don't want to just use the multimeter.

The subs are already in the box so I will have to use the MM.
I have been looking at the alpine and rockford fosgate amps. What do you think about those?

Just pop one out of the box then see what the resistance is on it. I would go with alpine over RF.
