New Tailights

Just installed them 2 days ago, thanx to Sharkulator for sending them to me...

as well as repainted a nasty bump that chipped off a good portion of my paint, because some people just can't park, think I did a good job on it, just need to buffer it out

yeah,or at least the Gen 2's with the led. oh well, do the skyline paint job if you can. that looks decent and different, i think. I would have done the red/clear, but i have 96's and don't really want to put them in the oven. the bumper looks good, but needs a little bit more work, and put a tip on your muffler. it looks a little bit

nice man, but i stick with stock ones, made them red/clear, looks much better, and especially with black color they would stand out

looks alright but to each his own. i think i dont like them because they have that white border that contrasts with your dark colored car. i always liked them more on a light colored car but i still wouldn't go with anything but red/clear just because i think it looks best and should have been factory in the first place.

Sharkulator sold them to me for like $65 shipped I believe,

as for the red/clear, I don't really know how to do that, but thus far I like how it looks, it stands out, but then again it doesn't because its gun metal I believe.

Slightly tint the lights. Debadge the trunk, paint the key hole, and then wash her.

to be honest, i saw thowse TLs on one maxima, same color same lights, looks ugly.
Does anyone know how to put LEDs to tail lights. Detailed setup. Cuz i don't wanna mess up my elecsystem.
And i'd add LEDs to those lights ^^ and paint them black =)

I like the idea of tinting them. If you make them a little darker, I think they will look much, much better...nice job otherwise, and that was a good deal too.

These are home made red clears if you want to get an idea of what $4.99 and about 2 hours of work can get you. I like them a lot and plan on doing the inner trunk lids to match the outers completely when I have some free time.

i wouldn't suggest tinting the headlights.......it might look cool, but if you do it too dark, your not gonna be able to see ANYTHING at night especially if you have 9004

Not bad, I have a higher tolerance for altezzas on darker colored maximas. They would look much better if that trunk was shaved.

hmmm, I would shave off the Nissan brand, but I rather like the way the Maxima emblem looks on the back, cauz if you shave everything off, the trunk will just look too blanked out, I'd rather leave the Max emblem on if I was to do anything to the trunk

ive tried a biger fuse, stil blew. Even when no lights are hooked up it still blows i dunno what to do? any1 have a wire digram for them? could it be a bad relay? this is very frustrating please help

u might have a bad wire somewhere in the car, because changing the housing really doesn't have anything to do with the fuse since u didn't replace the light bulbs, I had the same problem, found a bad wire, changed it, and everything was dandy

well I went to a mechanic, because at first I tought it was da multifunctional unit that was fried, but then they just pointed out that there was a bad wire, so my best guess if, if u don't know what ur doin, u might as well go to a mechanic and have them analyze it

well my problem was pretty simple to find, so I don't know, I would say go to a nissan dealer because they specialize, because if its a wire thats more complicated, u don't want a regular joe messing with it
