2 years after my top end rebuild uggghhh

Ok, I dont know if I told you all this but my cruise control wasnt working after I had my top end redone. I thought that they had fried my cruise control ecu box under the driver seat because of some issues they did which pissed me off. Well, I went to a junk yard today and was looking for parts. I did find a trunk opener looks freakin brand new. Paid 7 bucks for it. I know kinda out of there but I wasnt going to find another one like it at all. So I now have a working trunk opener. Anyway back to the story. During the course of six long months I had to reconnect some hoses here and there and even connect some that werent even connected up to certain places so my vaccum was back up. Well, I saw that the hose to the cruise control actuator went underneath the actuator in the engine bay. I go and check mine and the ****ing jokers that installed my new heads tucked the damn hose to the cruise control actuator underneath it so it appeared to be connected but really wasnt. I was relieved to find I could fix this stupid mishap but pissed because I paid those fools 1550 to do all that work just so I could perfect and reconnect and find **** that they didnt reconnect back up. I am so surprised my car still ran and still runs after all that. All this time I was thinking my CC ecu instead the freakin hose wasnt connected up. So I have been also having a vaccum leak all this time too.

I feel better now...

lol, don't you love that? Took 6 months or me to get my backup lights back when I found out they weren't working.

Yeah man, I was mad. I went to autozone to get a new vaccuum hose for it because the one I had was all hard anyway. So, I connected everthing back up. If anyone wants to replace that hose get about 4 feet of vaccuum hose for that connection. I cut some excess off but it wasnt too much I had to cut off. Anyway, I went on a 45 minute joy ride with my cruise control on the whole time. I went to Belton and back cruising at 60 then pressing the accelerator button and going 70 mph. Man, I love my car even more now. However I did start to get tired of driving with the cruise control on so I had to take it off on the last 5-10 minutes of driving. Overall Im feelin good. Now to fix these tie rod ends and some other minor work and Ill be feelin good. As well as getting some new rims hopefully. Im trying to budget this all out so Hopefully I can get them before Maxus this year.

p.s. This is my 3,000th post
