interior plastic/vinyl paint. I think Pepboys may sell different colors. There might even be the grey/silverish metallica looking color that's in our SE interiors... I think.. I'm not sure, but definitely plastic paint. They may have a flex agent or something that allows it to adhere to plastic better.

I was wondering almost the same thing. I wanted to touch up some of the interior pieces myself put couldn't figure out how any of these panel come out in my 01. I would like to do the switch panel the center console and a few other pieces I thought would be easy to just pop off. Any instructions or how to to remove some interior pieces for paint?

I just did mine in my 00 SE and I used graphite wheel paint for them. It came out pretty good. A little different color but close and I think it looks better!!

01 similar to 00

clock, pull straight up toward windshield I think. It's got steel snap/friction clips under.

shifter bezel, is yours manual? auto not sure. But for manual take out ashtray insert, take out screw, and pull up on the rear side of the shifter bezel toward the back of the car... again snaps. take out radio, climate control, and the vent piece comes out afterwards. I've taken all this off once when I installed my cd changer, but forgot exact instructions. But if I do it again, it's pretty easy to figure out.

Yea it's a manual 5 spd. That helps maybe I can mess around with a couple of those suggestions and see what i can do. I just dont want turn, pull , twist , tug, snap any of the pieces so I didn't see any good writ-up on interior removal. But those are good places to start thanks..
